10月9日根据国外媒体媒体爆料，迪士尼互动娱乐(Disney Interactive)发布公告，将停止旗下过去大量应用的更新与维护。
本次公告涉及的应用内容并不只限于游戏，也涉及到一些相关IP内容的APP。其中包括《复仇者联盟》与《玩具总动员3》。涉及的APP不会下架，玩家依然能够下载，但迪士尼将不再提供更新以及BUG方面的修复。迪士尼表示：“虽然这是一个很艰难的决定，但这个举措将让我们得以专注于制作更加充满吸引力的新游戏。”
近段时间，迪士尼的新作游戏《迪士尼互动：玩具盒子3.0》让迪士尼获得了不少的甜头，这种知名IP混合的游戏获得了极大的好评，也可能因为如此也让迪士尼定下了未来游戏的基调。
